Cessalee lives, works and plays on the lands of the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Peoples of the Kulin Nations. I honour and respect the lands and the traditional caretakers of this land and acknowledge my privilege and responsibility to build on the legacy of story, truth seeking, and human connection.

I acknowledge and extend respect to Elders, past and present, and to all First Nations peoples and Indigenous peoples around the world.

I commit to continually learning how to best uplift and centre their voices in the spaces I occupy, encouraging the self-determination for First Peoples.

Sovereignty was never ceded. This always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
